Christophe Duteil

ePawn was co-founded in 2010 by industry veteran Christophe Duteil, who serves as CEO of the Paris-headquartered startup.

ePawn provides a new gaming experience with a patented real-time object-tracking technology that enables gamers to seamlessly integrate real-world objects with their online and mobile games, regardless of the device or the platform.

With the ePawn Arena, a revolutionary yet affordable 26-inch accessory screen that leverages ePawn’s groundbreaking technology, ePawn brings back the simple thrill of real touch feeling to the gaming experience at the price point of an average video gaming console.

Prior to launching ePawn, Duteil led large and complex software development programs across three continents at global high-tech companies, which included working on the first PC-based simulators for Thales Training & Simulation, Nortel’s new 3G wireless offering as well as the launch of the first Femto-cell program at Alcatel-Lucent.

Duteil earned two postgraduate diplomas in software technology from Paris VI University and ENSAE (Sup’Aero) and holds a Master’s Degree from EMLYON Business School.
